Today my boyfriend and i made chocolate covered strawberries and my goodness are they delicious. These were extremely easy to make and healthyish.
The two ingredients you will need are:
1 punnet of strawberries
150g-200g of milk chocolate
To make this slightly naught treat you will need to melt your chocolate in a bain-marie keeping you eye on it so to make sure that it doesn't seizing.
Then prepare your strawberries by washing and de-stalking them. I didn't personally de stalk mine, but in hindsight i wish i had.
Then comes the fun bit, dip your strawberries into the chocolate covering as much as the strawberry as possible. Next place your strawberry onto some greaseproof paper and place in the fridge to become cool and crisp.
This recipe is extremely changeable, you could use any preferred type of chocolate, milk, white or dark. Or you could sprinkle in ground nuts, sprinkles or even desiccated coconut.
